Payables Agent: invoices that match themselves
The updated Payables Agent recognises invoices, automatically links them to open purchase orders and suggests the correct general ledger account itself.
Even without a unique reference, AI ensures the right match. The result: faster processing, fewer errors and more strategic space for finance teams.
Sales Order Agent: from e-mail to order in seconds
The new Sales Order Agent reads e-mails, attachments and incomplete requests, fills in missing info and processes the order.
It supports multiple delivery addresses and shows available delivery times (capable-to-promise). Sales teams gain speed and accuracy even with incomplete data.
Analysis Assist & Copilot
With natural language commands, set up analytics: "show customers by region, sorted by turnover".
Copilot summarises data faster, shows context (such as currency or status) and makes reporting more intuitive than ever.
Improved reporting, compliance and finance
Wave 2 brings new ways to comply with regulations without additional tools:
- Audit Trail shows who, what and when changed (= fully traceable).
- Excise duty are automatically calculated by product/region, making tax compliance easier.
- PEPPOL e-document flow prevents duplicate data entry and speeds up payments.
Quality, sustainability and control
Companies can now automate quality checks on incoming goods through the Quality Management extension, or outsource processes through Subcontracting with full transparency.
In addition, Business Central now integrates directly with the Project ESG Reporting app: measure greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption and waste intensity according to CSRD standards. All within the same ERP environment.
Governance, security and peace of mind
BC27 finally puts organisations in control:
- Manage your encryption keys itself.
- Activate functions in phases with API feature switches.
