Scappman becomes Patch My PC: what does it mean for your environment?

From 31 January 2026, Scappman will end as we know it, and be integrated into Patch My PC. This switch brings a significant change for organisations that today use Scappman for automatic software installations and updates through Microsoft Intune.

In this article, we explain what this migration entails, the benefits of Patch My PC, and how we guide our customers through this transition.

Scappman vs Patch My PC

Scappman was founded with one clear mission: automating third-party application management within Microsoft Intune, without complex infrastructure. Thanks to their user-friendly cloud solution, Scappman quickly grew to become a popular tool among IT teams in Europe. On 4 November 2022, Scappman was officially acquired by Patch My PC. By joining forces, they aim to accelerate innovation and provide even better support to customers worldwide.
