Smals chooses Fortinet and VanRoey again
Smals, an association of more than 300 public institutions, assists public authorities in their quest for first-in-class ICT solutions. To offer this to its members with economies of scale and through reliable partners, Smals works out framework agreements for them. The government contract specifically concerning network security again goes to Fortinet's products and services, offered by VanRoey.
This new agreement underlines the successful long-term relationship between Smals, Fortinet and VanRoey. A collaboration aimed at strengthening digital security in the Belgian government. That Smals once again chooses VanRoey confirms the company's leading role in protecting local and federal government institutions.
Fortinet provides network security solutions worldwide and has become the market leader in Unified Threat Management (UTM) thanks to its 'Security Fabric' ecosystem. Also in Belux Fortinet has been the best-selling cybersecurity brand for many years. This is partly thanks to the FortiGate, a particularly reliable and high-performance next-generation firewall.
General Manager Pat Van Roey is therefore particularly proud: "In recent years, we have been able to demonstrate our expertise to various government departments through Smals. We therefore see the renewed cooperation as an acknowledgement of the work done."
The renewed partnership will be festively kicked off in Brussels on Thursday 13 June 2024. A event which provides Smals members with essential information and networking opportunities.
